Out of Town

Today, Johnny has traveled to Nairobi to work on the legal side of our project. It's amazing how much each one of us does on a daily basis. Today I'm having to 'bear Johnny's load' while he's away, and Pauline is doing my share of the work around the house as I'm gone doing Johnny's bit.

Johnny will return in a couple of days. In the mean time, we are planning a little 'celebration' for Jamhuri Day, this Wednesday. We are going to roast goat, chicken, pork, and sausages and eat ugali and kachumbari with our family and friends here in Kenya.

It's a Kenyan holiday (like our 4th of July), but we are using it as our Christmas celebration as well.
